A transgender woman Elena is assaulted on a dark walk from her lovers flat. Battered with fist, boot and a torrent of disgusting slurs, she is left bleeding and helpless. Further humiliation inflicted posed and bleeding. Embraced in the soft glow of the nightly news. The eyes and rumors followed. Everyone knew who she was and their resentment grew. Accosted on every corner, disparaged by every word. As she grew smaller, memories engorged vomit forth an life long abuse. The reckoning inside her brought on operators garbed in masks of love. As her mind swelled and scared like her face and heart, she stepped of the bridge.
